The Portkey Fanfiction Reommendation Engine (short: Rec-Engine) is a web application of the PORTKEY.ORG network.

Aim of the Recommendation Engine
The Recommendation Engine was designed to list and keep track of all the rec-worthy fanfictions in the Internet. Worthy Fanfictions are stories you think everyone should read because they stand out over the rest. However, the engine is limited to the relationships currently supported by Portkey.org, such as: Harry/Hermione, James/Lily, Draco/Ginny, Ron/Luna, and General (non shipped fics).

While we know that our definition of rec-worthy fanfictions is not very objective, we ask you to use your common sense when you add recommendations.

• Please make sure the fanfiction you want to recommend meets our recommendation criterias.
• Please do not recommend fics just to promote the work of a friend, unless you think it's really rec-worthy.
• Please do not recommend all fics of a certain author just because you think eveything written by this author has to be good.
• Please make sure that if the fic is part of a series(meaning fics containing sequels, prequels, and ficlets) the romantic outcome of said series still meets our recommendation criterias.
